Following my heart and my passion for surfing, farming and building, I arrived and settled on Kauai’s North Shore more than 30 years ago. Realizing quickly after my arrival that I had discovered my “paradise,” I made the decision this was where my home and future would reside.

Background

Planting more than my own roots, I developed a passion and love for organic farming and founded Kauai Organic Farms and Hawaii Naturals. As CEO of both companies, I grew them into successful enterprises and became one Hawaii’s largest producers of organic products and produce. At that point in my life, I met my beautiful wife Melissa, who is the mother of our three children, Max, Wyatt and Koa and my constant “guiding light”. I am grateful for the wonderful life I get to enjoy everyday on Kauai and I'm a strong believer in giving back. In fact, my team and I are involved in over 25 local, regional, national and international philanthropic causes ranging from the Kauai Community Arts Program and the Kilauea Point Natural History Association to the Natural Resource Defense Council, Greenpeace, and SurfAid International.
